WEEK 3 - BRIT TOWERS

  A change from the past two weeks updates from Brit Towers.  Instead of posting the results and the standings on the blog, these will now be shared as snapshots on our Twitter (please follow - @BritishFFL ) and the blog will be used to give a summary on the week which was. BFFL The defending champions, Essex Wolverines, are still searching for their first win and find themselves adrift in the East Division. It is Medway Tigers who surge ahead, with over 200+ PF average and an unbeaten record. They will want to keep this momentum going as they face Newcastle Lions, who won the BFFL North in 2020. Over in the North, Edinburgh take top spot after their win against Manchester but come up against a tough Cambridge Dragons team in Week 4. The South is as close as it was in 2020. All four teams are on a 1-1 divisional record and now they entertain the teams from the West. Brighton Sharks still sit top with their two wins, all the other three teams on a 1-2. WEEK 2 - BRIT TOWERS

  Hopes were high and enthusiasm bubbled after the Week 1 results. The teams sped into Week 2 and then the injuries hit. There were a lot of nervous GM's throughout the leagues over the weekend as they waited for the scores to come through. This was the first week of two weeks of divisional match-ups and getting one over on your rivals within your division sat top of the priority list. WEEK 1 - BRIT TOWERS

  That is Week 1 complete here at Brit Towers. As covered in previous league posts, this is a massive season for all the teams involved with the introduction of the promotion and relegation system between all the levels. It is one community. This is Brit Towers. Here is a round-up from around the leagues: The Brighton Sharks took the GM Of The Week award as they amassed 234 points against defending British champions, Essex Wolverines.  Brighton were the only South division team to win their games in Week 1 and head into next week's divisional match-ups hoping to keep their 100% record as they face their fierce rivals, Swindon Steam. The East Division teams dominated the other games and it is Medway Tigers who sit top, with a superior points for and they face second in their division, Cambridge Dragons, so one of these teams will be 100% going into Week 3.
