THE BFFL CUP
A WORD FROM THE ORGANISERS
The BFFL Cup.
80 Teams.
0 Tiers.
Giant Killing.
It's A Knockout.
The BFFL Cup was borne out of the idea of further building the community spirit of the BFFL; hopefully bringing about new rivalries, brother/sister-hoods and shared tactics.
It's roots lie more in 'soccer' than NFL and the cup clearly takes its cues from the FA Cup in the UK. No longer will GM's have to wait two, three or four years of promotion in order to face their local rivals. Now, the luck of the draw is all that stands in the way.
For the GM's it is a chance to win twice in a week, console themselves with a cup win after a league loss or, perish the thought, take a double-L and promptly oversee a complete franchise overhaul.
The format is simply head-to-head and GM's won't be required to do anything in order to compete as the scoring will be pulled over from the main leagues automatically.
The draw for Week 1 will take place later in the year, but trust us you will see that hype-train coming when it's time.
In the meantime, head on over to Twitter and find us @BfflCup and keep your eyes peeled for grand draw videos and news to follow.
See you there.
Dan and CDK.
